During Milan Design Week 2021, Edelgrund unveiled “Forest,” an installation by Paolo Giordano and Ouwen Mori at Palazzo Litta. Part of the “Design Variations 2021” by Mosca Partners at Palazzo Litta, “Forest” reimagines Persian flatweaves from a fresh perspective. Kilim panels were suspended five meters high in the Gallery Room, inviting visitors to engage with the carpets up close and from various angles. Giordano and Mori’s modern yet timeless design featured graphic elements and subtle gradients, transforming traditional rugs into a striking abstract display. This installation showcased Edelgrund’s endless design possibilities, inspiring new ways to appreciate Persian craftsmanship.
