At Milan Design Week 2024, Edelgrund showcased “Chador,” an evocative installation at Menu Milano, curated by Bodo Sperlein. Inspired by the “Siah Chador” tents of Iran’s Bakhtiari tribe, this piece melded tradition with modernity. The installation featured Edelgrund’s vibrant, handcrafted wool rugs, celebrating Persian storytelling through intricate patterns and colors. The installation’s undulating forms mirrored the nomadic essence of Persian tribes, embodying the rich heritage and artistic spirit of Iran.
