Funk & Flair at The Space captured the polished decadence of the 1970s—where velvet lounges met chrome-lit nights. Curated by Shirin Ehya, the installation channeled the iconic allure of Biba with a hint of elegance of 1970s Tehran.
A 48sqm hand-woven EDELGRUND flatweave, made of 100% wool, was installed as a single piece stretching from the edges of the room all the way up to the ceiling—creating a dramatic canvas for the event. This expansive installation set the stage for a rich composition of vintage treasures, statement furniture, and artworks by both established and emerging artists.
Opulent soirées, sleek silhouettes, and bold artistic expression converged to create a seamless dialogue between past and present.
