As part of Milan Design Week, Edelgrund presents Living Canvas-a tribute to the evolving dialogue between tradition and modernity. This installation invites you to explore how craftsmanship, materiality, and design shape the way we connect with spaces and one another.
At Menu curated by Bodo Sperlein, we proudly showcase Canvas, a kilim that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. Inspired by the Mazandaran kilims-a design language crafted by Iranian women in the late 19th century-it fuses minimalist patterns with a bold, maximalist spirit. A vibrant splash of color interrupts its monochrome stripes, creating a striking focal point in any room.
Through Living Canvas, EDELGRUND invites you to step into a world where Persian storytelling meets contemporary design, celebrating weaving as a living, breathing expression of culture.
EDELGRUND at Menu was showcased in the beautiful All Saints Anglican Church in Brera, alongside brands like Schotten & Hansen, Lobmeyr, LZF Lamps, and Gan Rugs.
